THE ESSENCE OF SANCTIFICATION AND BEING SEALED UNTO ETERNAL LIFE AND GLORY

"Sanctify Them By Thy Truth: Thy Word Is Truth" (John 17: 17). 

"Thou Shall Know The Truth, And The Truth Shall Make YOU Free"

John 8: 32).

In our Sacred RACE of Life to make HEAVEN or The Kingdom Of God, SANCTIFICATION UNTO HOLINESS OF LIFE is our utmost Divine ASPIRATION and MAKING HEAVEN at all costs is our GOAL ~ and this is achieved by BEING SEALED UNTO ETERNAL LIFE AND GLORY which affords us the Divine Status whereby our NAMES are WRITTEN in the BOOK OF LIFE

(2Cor. 1: 21-22; Rev. 20: 12, 15; 3: 5; Phil. 4: 3).

 In SANCTIFICATION we fight to a standstill the SINS of our life that stand against us and finally get them uprooted to God's Glory, by His Grace. This is where genuine REPENTANCE from SINS sets in.

REPENTANCE backed up with PRAYER! To REPENT is to give up SINNING. It means to be CONTRITE. It involves Kneeling Down And PRAY to The LORD for FORGIVENESS. To REPENT is to be ASHAMED of SIN and desire Higher Association With HEAVEN. To REPENT of SIN is to desire the opposite VIRTUE. Finally, to REPENT of a SINFUL ESTATE is to sincerely desire and ASK for deeper RELATIONSHIP With Almighty God. REPENT and PRAY.

THE TECHNIQUE OF SANCTIFICATION

Now we shall work on The Technique Of Sanctification, that is, the methods to adopt in FIGHTING SINS and UPROOTING THEM successfully to God's Glory.

The VITAL STEPS necessary for this Divine Corrective Therapy to Sin embraces The PRELIMINARY MEDITATION.

First and foremost, recall that YOU must become HOLY within before The Father can assign a permanent portion of the Holy Spirit to dwell in YOU and activate YOU constantly for His Glory.

Secondly, nobody can become sanctified through Prayer alone. Nobody can become sanctified without Prayer.

Therefore, your DAILY DEVOTIONAL PROGRAM will be divided into TWO SECTIONS. We classify all ACTIVITIES Under The First Section as MEDITATION. Similarly, we classify ACTIVITIES In The Second Section as PRAYER.

THE CRUCIAL STEPS

Let us first of all go through all the CRUCIAL STEPS involved in the SANCTIFICATION EFFORT.

(i) IDENTIFY ALL YOUR SINS

Probe Yourself. 

Read The Word Of God (Holy Bible)

Probe Yourself

Allow Your Conscience To Steak

Identify All Your Sins

Write Them Out In Your Mind

Write Out A Confidential List

Even PRAY That Your Hidden Sins Be Made Manifest Before YOU.

ASK The HOLY SPIRIT To Convict YOU Of Sin. 

PRAY To Be Exposed To Yourself Beneath The Superficial Layers Of Social Acceptability, Nuances Of Social Graces And Other Pretensions To Righteousness.

I advise YOU to begin your SEARCH for YOURSELF with READING the Scriptural Passage of St. Paul's Epistle:

"And even as they did not like to retain God in their Knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient, being filled with all unrighteousness, maliciousness, full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity, whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful, who knowing the Judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them (Romans 1: 28-32).

At this juncture, dwell on the following Scriptural Passage from our LORD JESUS CHRIST De MESSIAH:

"Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled" (Matt. 5: 6). This is an important point of Hope. Let it have a meaning for YOU.

(ii) TRY TO DISCOVER WHY EACH SIN IS BAD

(a) With respect to God Almighty, our Creator

(b) With respect to natural justice

 (c) With respect to your dignity

(d) With respect to the Society.

(iii) REPENTANCE AND PRAYER

Now recall our previous definitions of REPENTANCE. To REPENT is to give up SINNING. It means to be CONTRITE. It involves Kneeling Down And PRAY to The LORD for FORGIVENESS. REPENT and PRAY NOW.

YOU are going to accompany the subsequent STEPS with Repentance and Prayer.

REPENTANCE and PRAYER, They Are CONSTANTS Of TRANSFORMATION; CONSTANTS Of Spiritual TRANSFORMATION.

Without REPENTANCE, There Is No Destruction Of Sin-Vectors In The Soul.

(iv) IDENTIFY THE POSSIBLE COORDINATES OF EACH SIN

AXIOM 1A1: "There Is Almost No Sin Operating In Isolation In The Universe Of Human Personality". 

The above Axiom emphasis that "No Sin Operates Alone; Each Sin Operates In A Cluster With Other Sins".

Therefore, while YOU pick up a particular Sin to FIGHT against it and overcome it in your life, YOU should also WORK to UPROOT its COORDINATES as well.

In other words, I mean that Sins tend to operate in clusters, reinforcing, supporting one another. The inside of man is dynamic. The SINS existing there are in dynamic combination and association.

For every LEAD SIN under consideration, one can assemble its possible COORDINATE SINS. These COORDINATES vary in number according to the necessity of each psychological event and also according to the "Total Psychic Atmosphere" of each individual Soul.

For instance, a Sin that does not exist in YOU cannot be a COORDINATE of a Sin that already exists in YOU.

LUST, for example, has SIN COORDINATES in Pride, Selfishness, Impatience, Irreverence, Disobedience, Envy, Aggression, Drunkenness.

ADULTERY has SIN COORDINATES in Greed, Hatred, Dishonesty, Covetousness, Pride, Selfishness, Impatience, Lust, Irreverence.

ENVY has SIN COORDINATES in Hated, Lust (Over-ambition), Injustice, Pride (Self-conceit), Greed, Infidelity, Faithlessness in God, Selfishness.

PRIDE has its SIN COORDINATES in Envy / Jealousy, Insubordination / Disobedience, Lying / Dishonesty, Impatience, Fornication, Adultery, Rape, Incest, Hatred, Gossipping, Backbiting, Irreverence, Stubbornness.

VENGEANCE has SIN COORDINATES in Pride, Greed, Envy, Impropriety, Irreverence, Selfishness, Impatience, Grudge, Sense Of Inferiority, Inordinate Ambition.

BACKBITING has SIN COORDINATES in Jealousy, Selfishness, Pride, Vengeance, Lust, Sense Of Inferiority, Ingratitude.

The above are only examples. YOU can easily extend the list as YOU sincerely discover them. The advantage of MEDITATING ON THE COORDINATES OF A SIN is so that YOU may know what FORCES will  rise up in YOU to prevent a SIN from being DESTROYED or UPROOTED FROM YOU or what FORCES COOPERATE with a particular BAD HABIT to make it sticky and powerfully recurrent "in your life".

Your PRIDE, your HURT PRIDE arising out of an exaggerated estimation of yourself may be the🔥fire stocking the great tendency to VENGEANCE in YOU, so that YOU are always planning to RETALIATE every HURT, no matter how slight or minor it might be. So, if YOU are REPENTING of being VENGEFUL, YOU have to REPENT of PRIDE also, and so on.

Take another example. Your IRREVERENCE Or LACK OF FEAR AND RESPECT FOR GOD emboldens YOU to TAKE YOUR NEIGHBOUR'S WIFE Or YOUR NEIGHBOUR'S HUSBAND in an ACT OF ADULTERY. Suppose there was no IRREVERENCE in YOU. Suppose YOU had a deep seated FEAR OF GOD or REVERENCE FOR GOD. Then a restraining factor against ADULTERY would have existed in YOU. Depending on the situation, this REVERENCE OF GOD may be the only factor holding YOU from falling into ADULTERY.

The  greater the COORDINATES of a particular SIN, the easier for that SIN to find its constant realization in social intercourse.

Next, take the SIN OF ENVY assisted by an individual PRIDE - overbearing sense of selfworth - assisted by a strong tendency to SELFISHNESS - lack of consideration for others - assisted by LACK OF FAITH In God Almighty and YOU have the ENVY becoming so dominant in the personality that the Person becomes QUARRELSOME, Choleric in temperament, ready to inflict pains on others and engage in overt and covert acts of wickededness.

FURTHER AXIOMS FOR OUR PRELIMINARY MEDITATIONS ON SIN

(i) AXIOM 1A2

"SIN Like Virtue Is A Relational  Phenomenon Between Man And Man And Between Man And God".

No human Soul can create himself. No human Soul can create another human Soul. But every human Soul can create a SIN or a VIRTUE in his Relationship with God or with another human Soul.

No Soul can destroy himself as a Soul. No Soul can in reality destroy another Soul. Only Almighty God can do so. But a Soul can destroy a SIN or a VIRTUE in himself.

So, SIN like VIRTUE is a creature-phenomenon not a God-phenomenon. Unfortunately, I cannot write a treatise on SIN in this work for lack of space, but I can say that all the noise about asking God why He created man with capacity to do good or evil is unintelligent or illogical. For SIN is really a simple matter within our ambit, very conveniently within our ambit. YOU can choose NOT to commit SIN and not commit it; and, YOU can, similarly, choose to commit SIN and YOU do that. God Almighty was really very fair to Man, for SIN is only a Relational Creature-phenomenon which is soluble at the discretion of each individual ego. As YOU shall see, the HEAVENS are more than willing to HELP us out once we take the initial decision to solve the problem of SIN.

No doubt there has been some confusing Theology on this issue in the Religious Press and in the Churches. If however YOU will be carefully following our analysis in this Program, YOU will be getting a clearer perspective on the issues.

AXIOM 1A3

"SIN Like VIRTUE Obeys The Simple Mundane Laws Of Dynamics With Little Modifications".

(i) A SIN at rest in the Human Soul tends to remain there unless acted upon by an opposing force.

(ii) A SIN at work in the human action-reaction complex tends to remain at work unless programed out by another force, unless inhibited by contrary forces.

(iii) A SIN acted upon tends to react with opposing force until its potential energy is spent in the kinetics of reactions.

AXIOM 1A4

"Every SIN Is Parasitical On The Human Will Complex For Its Existence, For No Sin Has Any Inherent Power Of Self-renewal".

Once the supply line of SIN from the Human Will Complex is cut off, it will die off eventually.

AXIOM 1A5

"Every SIN Is A Discordant Vibration Contributing To The Slowing Down Of The Rate Of Vibration Of The Human Soul With The Consequent Mis-attunement With The Pervading Divine Spirit".

So SIN is a factor of Creature-Creator discord, a factor of universal mis-attunement.

AXIOM 1A6

"Every SIN Is A Contributor To Stress Or A Psychic Stress Factor". 

That is, within the symmetry of the human Soul motions every SIN is a Stress Factor.

AXIOM 1A7

"SINS Perpetuate The Cycles Of Death Or Decay. VIRTUES Perpetuate The Cycles Of Life Or Renewal".

That is why Lord Jesus Christ De Messiah said: "Come Unto Me That YOU Might Have Life".

That's why He further said: "This Is Life Eternal, That They May Follow Thee The True God And Jesus Christ Who Thou Hast Sent".

There is no Eternal Life in the sequences alien to the Will of God. Hence, the fundamental AXIOM:

EXISTENCE IS OPEN, EXISTENCE IS CLOSED.

HEAVEN or The KINGDOM OF GOD shall be unto us a realm of "PERPETUAL FESTIVALS", a REGION Of SUPREME REST or PERPETUAL SABBATH in Eternal Life, Light and Glory where the Redeemed Kingdom SAINTS shall ENJOY God's Perpetual Holy SABBATH of Peace, Happiness, Refreshments and Glory to God's Glory and behold Blessed FELLOWSHIP which all Kingdom SAINTS shall ENJOY with One Another and with The Eternal Father, Almighty God. 

Thus, the Kingdom SAINTS shall experience the BEATITUDE of NOT just UNION With GOD but ADHESION With HIM. PRAY.
