Certainly, our modern day mere "ENJOYMENT OF RELIGION", or WAITING ON GOD", or FULLNESS OF BLESSING, and the like, which do not portray the MARKS of HOLINESS of true RELIGION and which has NOT immediately and indissolubly joined with it, in every expression of it, in terms of PASSION for the immediate RESCUE of SINNERS from their SINS, is simply a mere caricature of the Higher Life of TOTAL UNION WITH LORD CHRIST De MESSIAH portrayed by TRUE HOLINESS, which, according to the WORD OF GOD, is the highest life of all.
The Holy Scripture says: "Not every one that said unto Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the Kingdom of Heaven; but he that does the Will of My Father Who is in Heaven" (Matt. 7: 21).
Further, the Holy Scriptures add: "This is the Will of God, even your Sanctification ... for God has not called us unto Uncleanness, but unto Holiness" (1Thess. 4: 3, 7). And, "Without Holiness, no man shall see The LORD" (Hebrews 12: 14). Therefore, "Be ye holy!" (1Pet. 1: 16).
Surely, anyone who reads the Holy Scriptures in sincerity of heart, and, "not handling The Word of God deceitfully" (2Cor. 4: 2), will see that it plainly REVEALS that God Almighty expects His people to live a life of HOLINESS, and that we must be HOLY to be HAPPY and PRODUCTIVE or USEFUL here on earth to qualify to ENTER the Kingdom of Heaven hereafter.
Certainly, HOLINESS portrays PERFECT DELIVERANCE FROM SIN. Hence, the Words of the Holy Scripture: "The Blood of Jesus Christ De Messiah ... cleanses us from all Sin"
(1John 1: 7).
Thus, we discover that not one bit of Sin is abandoned, for your old man, old nature, is crucified with Him Who is your LORD and SAVIOUR, "that the body of Sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should NOT serve SIN" (Romans 6: 6), for we are "made FREE from Sin" (Rom. 6: 18).
Therefore, we are henceforth to reckon ourselves "dead indeed unto Sin, but alive unto God, through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Rom. 6: 11).
Further, The Holy Scriptures REVEAL that HOLINESS is "PERFECT LOVE", which must naturally EXPEL from the Heart all Hatred and every Evil Temper opposed to Love, even as YOU must first empty a cup of all OIL that may be in it before YOU can fill it with WATER.
Thus, HOLINESS is a state in which there is no Anger, Malice, Blasphemy, Hypocrisy, Envy, Selfish Desires for Good Opinion of Men, Carnal Pleasures, Shame of the Cross, Worldliness, Deceit, Contention, Covetousness, nor any Evil Desire or Tendency in the Heart.
HOLINESS is a state in which there is no longer any doubt or fear. It's a state in which God is loved and trusted with a perfect heart.
Nevertheless, though, the HEART may be PERFECT, the HEAD may be very IMPERFECT, and through the imperfections of his HEAD - of his Memory, his Judgement, his Reason - the Holy Man may make many MISTAKES. Yet GOD looks at the sincerity of his purpose, at the love and faith of his heart - NOT at the imperfections of his HEAD - and calls him a Holy Man.
HOLINESS is NOT ABSOLUTE PERFECTION, which belongs to God Almighty only; nor is it ANGELIC PERFECTION; nor is it ADAMIC PERFECTION - for, no doubt, Adam had a perfect head as well as a perfect heart before he sinned against God.
However, it is CHRISTIAN PERFECTION - such PERFECTION and OBEDIENCE of the Heart as a Poor Fallen Creature aided by almighty power and boundless grace, can offer.
The Redeemer, Lord Jesus Christ De Messiah, said, "Make the tree good, and its fruit good" (Matt. 12: 33). Now, an Apple tree is an apple tree all the time, and can bring forth nothing but 🍎 Apples. So, HOLINESS is that Perfect Renewal of our Nature that makes us essentially good, so that we continually bring forth fruit unto God - "the fruit of The Spirit", which "is Love, Joy, Peace, Long-suffering, Gentleness, Goodness, Faith, Meekness, Temperance" (Gal. 5: 22-23), with never a single work of the flesh grafted in among this heavenly fruitage.
And, that's GLORY To GLORY! It's possible, right down here on earth, where SIN and SATAN have once ruined all mankind, for the Son Of God thus to transform all men, by enabling us to "put off ... the old man" with his deeds, and to "put on the new man, which after God is created in Righteousness and true Holiness" (Ephes. 4: 22, 24), being "renewed in knowledge after the image of Him that created him"
(Colossians 3: 10).
Isn't it absurd for most Christians and Zionists who say our LORD'S PRAYER on daily basis but don't believe what they PRAY for?
The Gospel Truth is that we can be good and do good too in the manner that God requires of us, just like the ANGELIC BEINGS in Heaven above.
Similarly, God requires us to LOVE and SERVE Him with all our Hearts, and Angel GABRIEL can do no more than that. In the same manner, and, by God's Grace, it is as easy for me to do as for any supernatural Being, such as the ArcAngel Gabriel.
Moreover, God has REVEALED by His PROMISE unto us that if we RETURN unto The LORD, our God, and OBEY His Voice ... with all our hearts, and with all our Souls, that He will circumcise our hearts ... to love Him with all our hearts, and with all our souls (Deut. 30: 2, 6).
Further, He promised that He would "grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve Him without fear, in Holiness and Righteousness before Him, all the days of our life" (Luke 1: 74-75).
The Good Fight Of Faith is a fight to retain this Blessing against the assaults of SATAN, the fogs of doubt, and the attacks of an ignorant and unbelieving Church and World.
Surely, it's NOT a FIGHT against ourselves after we are SANCTIFIED, for ST. PAUL expressly declared that "we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against Principalities, against Powers, against the Rulers of Darkness of this World, against Wicked Spirits in Heavenly Places" (Ephesians 6: 12).
And, the Holy Scripture declares, saying in these words: "God is able to make all Grace abound toward YOU, that ye, always having all, sufficiency in all things, may abound in every good work" (2Cor. 9: 8) ... NOT at DEATH anyway, but in this LIFE, when Grace is needed and where our Good Works are to be MANIFESTED and tested at once.
